Boston Marathon
Right now, I’m preparing for Boston 2011. Running the marathon you may ask? No, not this year, but close. I am not going to Boston to run the marathon; but, instead, I am going as a motivational speaker, a yoga teacher and an overzealous mile 21 cheerleader. I am thrilled for this opportunity of a lifetime to speak to these unrelenting road warriors. Boston! What has been dubbed as “the holy grail” and what I am dubbing, as “the superbowl of all marathons” will gift credence to the marriage of yoga and running. Understanding the magnitude of this message, I am fully prepared to deliver LARGE.
How does one prepare to deliver large to such a tenacious audience? What my husband may call “over-preparedness madness,” I just call par for the course. I begin with a fist-pumping “yes” and then shortly thereafter the process unfolds: a run to beckon my right-brained mind, the search to deeply understand my audience, the scribbling of erasable notes, a review of past work, a hunting for new pertinent research, and finally my personal mind lock-down – no music, no noise, no phone, no distractions, no email, nothing but the sweet flow of words on a computer expressing my sentiments about the subject matter at hand. Ahhhhh…I hope this presentation is a winner.
Here is my schedule, while I’m in Boston. If you are in the area, please stop by and say hello.
The sweat is soon to pour in Boston. Be careful as you run or cheer along “Heartbreak Hill.” You will be entering the “splash zone.”
My best to you, Angie

Great website Angie! I hope the Boston Marathon runner’s realize how lucky they are to have such a great motivational speaker! You have been so inspirational to me and so many other’s on the West Coast. So enjoy your runner’s yoga sessions @ lululemon(BH)! See you soon! ; )
I know your presentation is AWESOME! If the runners in Boston are getting a fraction of the inspiration/knowledge that you have to offer, they will be better prepared, not only for the marathon on Mon, but for running the rest of their lives.
Hi Angie! Great Yoga for Runners class in Boston on Sunday! I know the Marathoners really appreciated it!
Thank and lots of love!

from your senior “youthful” client – you have made such a positive
change in my life, both in the way I feel and look. You motivate and inspire, and as I always tell you, it comes from within. Love, from your friend and client. Roz
